Well after my interesting little Safari/Wordpress (mis)adventures last week, this week’s share of IT fun includes Safari now refusing to launch the upload prompt ever since I updated to version 14. I see there are lots of other similar complaints around the web and on social media, and I think the only option at this point is to wait for Apple to offer a fix in an upcoming update.
In the meantime, I’ve also been reading various reports on unsuccessful attempts to upgrade to Big Sur, so needless to say, I’ll be holding off on that for now. I’ve never been much of an early adopter in any case.
Not sure what’s going on with Apple these days, but for the first time in years, I’m questioning if having a setup that consists entirely of Apple products is a good idea, especially now that I’m doing more and more video work. I really don’t want to switch to Windows, but I definitely need my equipment to perform more reliably–deadlines are tight and time is of the essence.
